These “Daily Word” Messages were 90-second telephone messages offered daily by Dr. Clark B. Offner for 19 years in Japan before his return to the United States in 1999.  The messages are now reproduced and publicized here with his permission.  Please be aware of the following when using them.

- This website is designed so that messages can be used freely for educational and research purposes.  It is requested that we be contacted (by e-mail or by writing in our Guest Book) when they are used for other purposes.

- The frequently appearing address of the ‘Daily Word’ Messages (P.O.Box, Moriyama) is no longer being used.  Please use e-mail to contct us.

- The previous ‘Daily Word’ URL is no longer being used.  Please use this website for current ‘Timely Words’ messages as well as for previous ‘Daily Word’ messages.

- We welcome the inclusion of a link to our ‘Daily Word’ Messages on your web page.  Please be sure the link is directed to our top page ( http://daily-word.hp.infoseek.co.jp/index.html ).

- The publicized files were reproduced by scanning or re-typing the messages that were written before by Dr. Clark B. Offner.  We work on the reproduction with great caution; however, there still could be typos and other mistakes.  If you find such errors, we would appreciate it if you could inform us by sending an e-mail message to the Publicizing Committee staff.
